There is email option in sony ericsson k750i mobile. and I have email account in both gmail and yahoo. But I don't know how do I use this email client om mobile to send and recieve mail through my mobile. in email settings of mobile I am asked to provide incoming, outgoing server, mailbox, password etc. please help !
How do configure email settings in mobile ?
Yahoo:
Essentially you can check http://mobile.yahoo.com/go select your carrier and then see if your phone is supported for Yahoo! Go beta.
If it is not or you do not wish to use yahoo go, the basis are:
add your user name and passcode. The incoming mail server is pop.mail.yahoo.com and the outgoing mail server is smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Under options you may wish to select something like only downloading mail for the last 2-3 days so that you do not use up all of the memory in the phone.
for Gmail:
User Information
Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.
Email Address: Enter your full Gmail email address (username@gmail.com)
Server Information
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
Login Information
User Name: Enter your Gmail username (including @gmail.com)
Password: Enter your Gmail password
Reply:mailbox is your email address; yourusername@yahoo.com Report Abuse
