Env2 mobile mail - new email indicator doesn't seem to work?

i switched on the new mail notification, but new mail comes in and I hear nothing.....

Check your sound settings under the Tools, Settings menu. If that does not work, take out the battery and leave it for 5 minutes with the battery out. If this still fails to fix the problem, call tech support at 611.
