Yes. Every cell phone that supports text has an e-mail address associated with it.
If you know the person's phone number, you can send them an message from e-mail.
If the person is using T-mobile and their phone number is (434) 555-5555, then you would send a (short) e-mail to:
4345555555@tmomail.net
Other phone carriers are:
Virgin Mobile: phonenumber@vmobl.com
Cingular: phonenumber@cingularme.com
Sprint: phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Verizon: phonenumber@vtext.com
Nextel: phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com
where phonenumber = your 10 digit phone number
Short answer: If you don't know who their cell phone carrier is, you can just go to:
www.teleflip.com
Hope this helps!
Is it possible for one to send an email to a mobile phone using the internet? If so how?
you cant!!!
Reply:hmm, the answer to the question is tricky, THE ANSWER IS IT IS FEASIBLE THE OTHER WAY AROUND,One can check his emails through mobile phone. there are some latest gadgets avaliable in the market like "blackberry series mobiles" well since most of the todays mobiles are equipped with GSM/GPS system ,one can always recieve "sms"anywhere in the world. yet if one really wishes to check his/her mail then they should go on internet and check their mail via their source (yahoo or hotmail, etc.)and ofcourse yahoo alerts the Mobile Phone when there is a new mail.
Reply:Usually the email address of the phone you are sending text to is the actual phone number itself. You need to know the phone number of the person you want to send the email to and also if the phone they are using is capable of receiving text messages. Almost any phone out there today is capable of receiving text messages.
Reply:Yes, you can, to send an sms via Internet to mobile you can visit this web site http://corp.powermemobile.com/smsm/downl...
